Happiness is Good for Business

Once upon a time, business had to choose between profits and pleasant work environment, but not more. However, Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh says that’s no longer the case. Hsieh says a happy workforce is more productive and ultimately translates into happy customers and happy investors. “We are at the beginning of a very special time where … it is actually possible to have it all,” Hsieh says. It’s particularly interesting to note the use of positive psychology in designing the environment around Zappos.
